Creams traditionally work through the application of oils, vitamins, and various anti-aging ingredients. The light promotes the production of cells, elastin, and collagen. Meanwhile, the Jupiter’s surface, “The Probe,” heats up to 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit) and helps to stimulate blood flow. The Blue Light technology is used in the treatment of sun damage and to reduce the risk of skin cancer. It has also been used to deal with sunspots, acne, and also acne scarring. When in the Blue setting, the treatment surface of “The Probe” cools down to 7 degrees Celsius (44.6 degrees Fahrenheit). It provides a cooling effect on the skin, tightening pores and slowing blood circulation. The Blue Light also cleanses the skin and is also antibacterial.
Together, the Red and Blue light technology offer a possible alternative to creams and oils in the treatment of wrinkles, fine lines, acne, sun burn, and even blemishes.
All the devices by Space Touch are FDA approved, so I tried the Jupiter with a certain confidence. Like any device, of course, I had a few trepidations about how easy it would be to use. Following the recommended guidelines, I have been trying it three times a week, with a combination of the red mode, with circular movements over the face, neck and other parts of the body, and the blue mode with similar patterns of motion.
The results have exceeded my expectations. My skin feels smoother, I’ve had less breakouts, and my skin tone appears more even.
